This is one of my favorite stories - the story of the currant bush. God truly does know us and love us - and just as He is, so is His knowledge of and love for us: perfect, eternal, all-encompassing and kind. I can say that I truly am grateful for the times in my life that I have been cut down - although it's never been easy or pain-free, once I put my heart fully towards His will, the result has been something far more greater and magnificent than my finite mind could have ever imagined. Trust God - good things will only become of it.
