{september is gone, october is here and november is right around the corner}

I keep thinking about a post from about 1 year ago...especially with the days, weeks and months all seeming to whoosh on by. It was written at such a good time, and I remember it oh so well...it makes me smile.

I absolutely love Sundays.
Today was full of so many wonderfully marvelous things.

The only thing left to do, is pretend like it was last September (I think this song helped inspire this post)...a favorite past time is calling. Calling me to kick up leaves as I walk and submerge my emotions with the beautiful fall colors and serene stillness (and would you look at the moon tonight?! Wow!), ponder whatever my mind wanders to, talk to a good friend about anything we feel like sharing, laugh, remember good times and just be ourselves. Oh to have friends! It is such a blessing, not only to have, but to give! I'm so grateful we have the ability to give and share - they really are great blessings, alike.

Yes, I do think I'll be driving through the canyon soon; soaking it all in and letting that slipping-of-time feeling slow down for a little while. Being taken up, up, up, amongst the leaves, clouds and closer to the blueness of the sky, being able to smell Autumn and its wonderful change, its turning of a leaf (no pun intended)...it gives me a feeling of coming home. And that feeling, my friends, is definitely irreplaceable.
